Job description

Job Title: Project Manager Location: Carpentersville, IL (Hybrid / On-site preferred) Payrate: $70-80/hr. on W2 Duration: 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension) Division: Engineering – Controls Division Qualifications
• 10+ years of project/program management experience within the defense or aerospace manufacturing industry
• Proven experience managing projects with Tier 1 or Tier 2 defense contractors (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, L3Harris, BAE Systems, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of DCMA processes, defense procurement protocols, and MIL-SPEC documentation
• Deep understanding of DFARS, ITAR, and DoD compliance requirements
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams through prototype, validation, and production phases
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills in highly technical environments
• PMP certification preferred, or equivalent program management experience in a defense contracting environment
• Willingness, and ability to engage at any level needed to drive the project to completion
• U.S. citizenship required due to contract and export control requirements
