Standard Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Lockheed Martin has opportunities available for members of the military community experienced with deploying, maintaining, and operating communication systems for our military including Radar, Satellite, Sonar, Radio and COMSEC.
Based on role, team and experience duties may include:
• Analyze, model, design, and simulate communications systems for communication networks, data links, digital radio, battle management, and command and control systems.
• Perform satellite communication system analyses, generate designs and perform maintenance.
• Support the design, integration, and test verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems

Desired skills
• Active US government security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with MILSATCOM CCS-C or other C2 ground systems
• One or more: Radar, Electronic Warfare, Weapons Integration, Avionics, Sensors, Displays, Communication or Navigation systems
• Hands-on experience with antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques.
• MOS/AFSC/Rate/NEC/Designator: 25A 25C, 25L, 25N, 25P, 25S, 25U, 35S, 35T, 94E, 1CXXX, 3DXXX, Navy IC, ET and FC
• Navy Combat Systems: FCA, IC, STG, etc.
• Knowledge of, or experience in, troubleshooting and maintaining functional equipment areas of the Aegis Weapon System to include UYQ-70 Display equipment, ORTS, ALIS LAN architecture, COTS-based processing systems used onboard AEGIS Ships or other military UNIX based display equipment.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $69,200 - $119,830. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
