You Are:
A growth strategist. You will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success by identifying, quantifying, and shaping new growth opportunities for Accenture Federal Services. You will be responsible for formulating comprehensive strategies that leverage client insights, market trends, and human behavior to target and capture high-potential opportunities. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating closely with product managers and account leaders to bring new business concepts, products, or services to market and to impactfully position Accenture to capture new opportunities in the federal market.
To excel in this position, you will benefit from hands-on experience with business development processes, proposal writing, and go-to-market strategies. Familiarity with strategic planning, project management, and facilitation techniques will be essential as you guide teams and stakeholders through complex growth initiatives. Exposure to government contracting processes and market analysis tools will further enhance your ability to navigate and capitalize on diverse market environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to deliver compelling client-facing presentations, will be key assets as you influence decision-makers and drive projects forward.
The work:
  • Leverage client, market, and human insights to develop growth strategies and shape new business, product or service offerings to take to market.
  • Identify, quantify and qualify growth opportunities and support management of the sales pipeline by engaging with account sales leads, Business Development Directors (BDDs), and Client Account Leads.
  • Increase the probability of win (PWin) through support of strategic capture planning and proposal execution.
  • Collaborate internally with solution architects and delivery teams to create innovative, relevant, and client-focused IT service offerings.
  • Prepare for and facilitate client and partner conversations aligned to growth opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience:
    • Delivering solutions in the federal or public sector
    • Supporting business development efforts (e.g., writing proposals, identifying and supporting development of follow-on consulting opportunities)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
