Job description

We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and experienced SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Consultant with a focus on Finance (FI) to support our regional S/4HANA deployment across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Panama. This individual will play a critical role in enabling local compliance, tax localization, and financial integration for a leading Fintech organization. This role requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other processes like PTP, OTC, TM & TAX. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SAP Finance, a solid technical foundation, and prior experience supporting multi-country LATAM rollouts with an emphasis on regulated industries like Fintech.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with a focus on Asset Accounting and Tax.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Experience with LATAM region deployments, including country-specific localization.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and executing data migration strategies for financial data.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work in cross-functional global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tax compliance and e-invoicing in LATAM countries (e.g., CFDI for Mexico, Nota Fiscal for Brazil).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement of the Record-to-Report (RTR) process in SAP S/4HANA with a focus on LATAM finance operations.
  • Gather and analyse country-specific business and regulatory requirements in the Fintech sector.
  • Ensure successful integration of finance with SAP PTP, OTC, Tax, and Treasury modules.
  • Prepare and manage Functional Specification Documents (FSDs); collaborate with ABAP developers on WRICEF objects.
  • Support and execute financial data migration from legacy/non-SAP systems to S/4HANA.
  • Implement and validate SAP localization features including electronic invoicing (CFDI for Mexico, Nota Fiscal for Brazil), local chart of accounts, and statutory reporting.
  • Collaborate with Finance Systems and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence across all four countries.
  • Drive UAT, training, and go-live support, with a strong focus on internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and user procedures.
  • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Support end-user training.
  • Support business users as they complete user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support a successful go-live.
