Onsite in Burbank, CA
Key Responsibilities
o Perform order and task entries in different systems based on client requests
o Coordinate information and assets from different teams
o Work with the Senior Project Coordinators and Project Managers and other colleagues to eliminate blockers
o Produce project status and deliverable reports with a focus on "At Risk" and "Overdue" queues as assigned
o Create, research, collect, and/or source archival material from company or client systems and stage assets on production servers as per standard operating procedures
o Participate in regular production calls with the team and across departments
o Maintain clear communication with Project Managers, Coordinators, Department Leads, and Clients
o Partner with supervisors in championing customer service excellence and world-class delivery standards
o Lead or participate in training or documentation initiatives as assigned
o Implement training, quality control and capacity building activities as assigned
o Assist in scheduling, task assignments, and workflow improvement
o When assigned, develop training material/program and coach others
o Mentorship, training and support to Project Coordinators within area of responsibility
o Must be able to work under minimal supervision and take ownership
o Assist in new hire training/shadowing
o Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education / Professional Certification
o Bachelor's degree in film, media, business administration, translation, linguistics, or a related field
• Work Experience
o At least 1 year of experience in translation, localization, digital media, or production/post-production project management
• Communication Skills
o Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of another language is highly desired. Can communicate effectively and respectfully within a cross-cultural business setting
o Advanced business writing skills, excellent grammar and punctuation
o Comfortable with leading production calls ensuring accurate minute-taking and action item tracking
• Technical Qualifications
o Essential
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of data, file, and media asset management systems
o Preferred
• Experience in translation/localization workflows and management systems and tools
• Good knowledge of professional subtitling software and/or dubbing tools and/or audio/video editing software
