Join the team shaping the future of theatrical Marketing AV Post Production at Netflix. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Marketing AV Producer to join the UCAN Marketing AV Post Production team based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is focused primarily on theatrical campaigns. We drive the global execution and delivery of marketing AV, consistently elevating our standards for craftsmanship, efficiency, and scale.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of AV Production (UCAN), the AV Producer is an integral part of campaign fulfillment. In this role you will manage AV finishing and localization production across theatrical marketing campaigns, from early teaser stages through TOS and launch.
You should have a deep understanding of theatrical Marketing AV Post Production and Localization workflows, including:
  • Long-lead campaign planning
  • Multiple asset versions and cutdowns
  • Coordinated global in-theater and digital rollouts

You excel at managing a large volume of assets across multiple platforms in a high-speed, high-performance environment. You are a calming presence, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that embraces change at scale. You're nimble, skilled at balancing competing priorities among global stakeholders, and effective as both a strong individual contributor and a collaborative partner.
Responsibilities
AV EXECUTION STRATEGIST
  • Own day-to-day communication and escalation with creative and operational stakeholders, content post teams, external finishing vendors, creative agencies, localization and distribution partners to efficiently manage finishing and localization execution.
  • Advise on delivery and budget risks to enable the creation and production of high-quality theatrical campaign creative at high velocity (teasers, trailers, TV spots, online trailers, and other theatrical-forward AV for IMAX and festival releases).

AV FINISHING
  • Manage the finishing and delivery of AV assets (teasers, trailers, TV spots, social, etc.) for our cross-functional marketing and communications teams.
  • Oversee color, sound mix, and visual effects workflows end-to-end, partnering with colorists, editors, sound engineers, and internal post teams to ensure creative intent is preserved across all versions and platforms.
  • Shepherd scope, budget and AV post production resources.
  • Plan, schedule and manage internal and external AV production workflows, eliminating time-sensitive bottlenecks.
  • Ensure internal and external partners are aligned with brand guidelines, legal and clearance requirements, music usage, and technical file specifications across theatrical, broadcast, digital, and social platforms.

AV LOCALIZATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Coordinate timelines, priorities, and expectations to ensure localized AV is delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with global campaign strategy.
  • Provide pristine source material preps (GFX collects, scripts, M&E, etc) to enable high-quality, on-time localized component deliveries from Localization teams.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication on localization status, risks, and dependencies, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions and keep regional launches on track.

WORKFLOW & TOOLING IMPROVEMENTS
  • Strategize how we eliminate, delegate, or automate our AV Production workflows for maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality or security.
  • Use data to inform production best practices, eliminating inefficiencies throughout our operational pipelines.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of AV Production experience at a post house, studio, streamer, or creative agency, with a significant focus on theatrical or title marketing campaigns.
  • Deep experience in theatrical title marketing, including fluency in:
  • Trailer and TV spot workflows
  • Multiple versioning strategies (ratings, length, regional, platform-specific)
  • Coordinating timing across in-theater, broadcast, and digital launches.
  • Experience with commercial or theatrical shoot production schedules (AV days, EPK, BTS capture, unit shoots) and integrating that material into marketing AV.
  • Experience managing finishing workflows with custom, commercial-grade color correction and general knowledge of visual effects workflows, particularly as they apply to elevated theatrical trailers and spots.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing campaign workflows, including understanding the Creative Development and AV Post Production process.
  • Fluent in AV file elements, file types, social and digital formats while understanding the fundamentals of asset management, QC, and trafficking.
  • Experience managing a high volume of AV campaign assets at various stages of production, simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Localization workflows including motion graphics, subtitling and dubbing.
  • Experience facilitating finishing approvals with high-profile, above and below-the line talent is a plus, but not required.

Personality Attributes:
  • Passionate and curious about all aspects of entertainment marketing.
  • A natural-born communicator, connecting the dots when others cannot, and have an ability to simplify complex issues and questions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment .
  • Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Approach challenges and obstacles with a solutions-oriented mindset.
