Role: Bilingual Spanish QA Manual & Automation Test Analyst

Location: Hartford, CT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week

Duration: 6 Months Contract with possibility of extensions.

Job Summary

IRG Client  is seeking an experienced QA Test Analyst with strong manual and automation testing experience to support enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent testing skills and professional proficiency in both English and Spanish, with experience validating Spanish-language application functionality and content.

The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing for enterprise applications.
  • Create and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • Test and validate Spanish-language screens, messages, notices, forms, workflows, and other user-facing content.
  • Compare Spanish content with approved English requirements and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform API and web service testing.
  • Perform backend data validation using SQL.
  • Test application integrations and interfaces with external systems.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest software defects using Jira.
  • Participate in defect triage and release validation activities.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and testing documentation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
  • Strong hands-on manual and automation testing experience.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience creating test cases from business and technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Jira or similar defect management tools.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
