Imperial Dade has a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver role available in Nashville, TN! Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step if you're eager to find your next opportunity.
The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 15-25 daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am-finish
You will:
  • Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller
  • Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trips
  • Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:
  • A valid commercial driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
  • A good driving record
  • 1 year of recent CDL A experience
  • 1 year of route delivery experience
  • 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
  • Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
  • Lift gate experience
  • Strong work ethic
