Job description

Sentinel Transportation is hiring safety-focused Local Crude Tanker Drivers for our Kenedy, TX terminal. This night shift, home-daily role offers a long-term career path with excellent pay and unmatched benefits. You'll transport crude oil safely and efficiently while following all DOT and Sentinel safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely pick up and drop trailers, and load/unload products as required.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Complete required DOT and company paperwork
  • Monitor vehicle safety and ensure the functionality of all related equipment.

Qualifications
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience; 6 months of tanker experience preferred.
  • Valid CDL A: Must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL A).
  • Haz-Mat & Tanker Endorsements: Required to have both Haz-Mat and Tanker Endorsements. A TWIC card may also be required depending on the location.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must successfully pass a DOT physical, drug test, and criminal background check to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
