Job description

Hight Logistics is a mid-sized company powered by Hight Electric in Long Beach, CA at the forefront of zero emissions trucking, specializing in port drayage with electric trucks. We provide exceptional customer service, and our goal is to add a professional, responsible, and safety-oriented drivers to haul containers to and from the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as an employee of Hight Electric. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license and the ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience as a company driver, be comfortable with local routes.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other personnel to ensure delivery accuracy.
  • Attend safety meetings and trainings
  • Maintain accurate e-logs.

  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, and pull
