What is a Local Tanker Owner Operator?

A Local Tanker Owner Operator is a professional truck driver who owns and operates their own tanker truck, typically transporting liquid or bulk materials such as fuel, chemicals, or food-grade liquids within a specific local or regional area. Unlike company drivers, owner operators are independent contractors responsible for maintaining their vehicle, securing contracts, and managing their business expenses.
