General Description:
PALA is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality programs for the construction, repair, and alteration of aboveground storage tanks throughout the Gulf Coast region. This is an opportunity for a proven API 653 Inspector, Tank QC Supervisor, or Quality Leader who is ready to make a significant impact on project execution, customer satisfaction, and the development of the next generation of quality professionals.
What You'll Be Responsible For
    • Leading all QC activities for API tanks new construction and repairs
    • Managing weld quality, NDE, hydrotesting, dimensional control, and turnover documentation.
    • Serving as the primary quality representative to clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies alongside Director of Quality.
    • Developing and mentoring QC Inspectors and field quality personnel.
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and quality performance metrics.
    • Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry codes, and PALA quality requirements.
    • Building a culture of accountability, ownership, and craftsmanship across every project.
