Job description

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets - passenger vehicle and commercial truck - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Dana Canada Corporation, Mount Forest plant is looking for Students to join our production facility building Thermal Products for Engine Transmission Oil Cooling, Charged Air Cooling and active warm-up applications.

Shifts Available: Day Shift (7:00AM to 3:00PM), Afternoon Shift (3:00PM to 11:00Pm Monday to Friday), Midnight Shift (11:00PM to 7:00AM Sunday to Thursday)

Wages: $21/hour + shift premium (Afternoons = $0.45, Midnights = $0.55)

The position will require the ideal candidate to work in the following conditions:

  • Job duties require continuous standing, walking, handling, and reaching
  • Repetition of tasks and duties
  • Excellent manual dexterity and handwork
  • Lifting between 5-15 lbs. sometimes continuously
  • Working safely at all times and within customer quality specifications
  • Positive attitude and spectacular attendance
