About the Position:

  • Starting and ending in the yard
  • Full time and permanent shift. Monday- Friday, 06:00 start time
  • Open board GTA- Local work
  • Open to Owner-Operators (Brokers)

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
  • Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Satisfactory drug and alcohol random testing
  • Valid AZ License
  • Satisfactory current background screening (Criminal and Judicial Matters)
  • If an owner-operator, truck must not be more than 10 years old (2015)

Responsibilities:

  • Driving equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Drop/ Pick, some tailgate, some retail store delivery, some live load, some dock-to-dock
  • Completing all applicable paperwork electronically, including PTIs
  • Using and maintaining ISAAC ELD software
  • Responsible for communicating with Dispatch
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
  • Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
  • Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
