Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel premises, assisting guests with their needs, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Guest Welcome & Assistance

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a personalized, friendly approach
  • Assist with luggage, directions to rooms, and introduce guests to property amenities
  • Provide information on parking, shuttle options, and arrival logistics

Equipment & Storage Services

  • Handle and securely store guest equipment such as skis, bikes, and golf clubs
  • Retrieve equipment quickly and efficiently upon guest request

Transportation Support

  • Provide accurate information and assist with airport and ski mountain transfers
  • Help load/unload shuttles or transport vehicles as needed

Lobby & Entryway Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the main entry and lobby area
  • Perform light snow shoveling at the entryway to ensure guest safety and accessibility

Guest Relations & Concierge Support

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel amenities and layout
  • Recommend local activities, dining, and entertainment options
  • Communicate with booking and housekeeping teams to anticipate and meet guest needs

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred

  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
