The RN in a group home setting provides medical oversight and direct nursing care to residents, often individuals with developmental disabilities, chronic illnesses, or behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities:Medical Oversight & Direct Care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor residentsโ€™ health status and respond to changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Perform assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
Coordination & Communication
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Communicate with families and guardians regarding residentsโ€™ health.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and care conferences.
Training & Supervision
