TransForce is seeking a Local CDL B Route Driver to support operations based in Ashland, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL B Route Driver Details
  • Schedule: Mon - Fri, 5.30am - 2pm, home daily
  • Pay: $23.50/hr plus OT after 40
  • Route Type: Local,  8 - 15 stops per day depending route for the day.
  • Freight / Load Type: Paper products and cleaning products
  • Handling: Heavy Touch / Pallet Jack & Hand carts

CDL B Route Driver Minimum Requirements: 
  • License: CDL B
  • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL B Route Driver Responsibilities: 
  • Safely operate equipment on local routes
  • Transport paper and cleaning products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks using pallet jack and hand carts
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role
