We are seeking reliable and experienced CDL-A Owner Operator Drivers to join our team in Dallas, TX. Loads can be from the rails or van loads warehouse to warehouse.

As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting freight with ocean containers between Dallas area rail yards, and various destinations across the United States, including but not limited to Louisiana (LA), Oklahoma (OK), Arkansas (AR),Alabama (AL), Tennessee (TN), Kansas (KS), New Mexico (NM), Arizona (AZ), and California (CA).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate and maintain trucks (Class A) for transporting freight to and from Houston
  2. ports, rail yards, and designated locations across specified states.
  3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company and DOT regulations.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight while adhering to all tra????ic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  5. Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, ensuring accurate logging and reporting of all routes, mileage, and delivery times.
  6. Handle loading and unloading of cargo as required, ensuring proper securing and protection of loads.
  7. Conduct regular checks on freight to ensure proper handling, preventing any damage or loss during transit.
  8. Maintain a clean driving record, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  9. Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logs accurately and promptly.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, both on and on the road.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid CDL-A (Commercial Driver's License - Class A).
  2. Apportion plates (Highly recommended)
  3. Hazmat (Highly recommended)
  4. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a CDL-A truck driver, preferably with experience in port and rail yard operations.
  5. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
  6. Ability to drive long distances and be away from home for extended periods when necessary.
  7. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  9. Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks.
  10. Excellent time management skills and reliability.
