Job description

Summary:

TheNon-CDL Driverposition is responsible foroperating company vehicles that do NOT meet Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirements. This role supports operations to attended donation centers, storefront donation centers, and retail stores, as well as speciallogisticsactivities.

This is strictly a NON-CDL position and applies exclusively to company vehicles classified as non-CDL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides support services to Attended Donation Centers (ADC), Storefront Donation Centers (SDC), and retail stores.
  • Performs pickups of after-hours drop-offs of donations, trash, and bulk wasteacross retail and donation center locations.
  • Executes on-demand service requestssuch as VIP donation pickups that do not require CDL rated vehicles.
  • Delivers supplies such as bottled water, industrial and commercial supplies, and promotional materials, among others, as required.
  • Supports seasonal and company-wide events.
  • Supports non-driving operational duties across the distribution center as required.
  • Completes and submits the daily trip manifest upon returning to thedispatch office.
  • Complies with all operational safety requirements for Non-CDL vehicles.
  • Maintains superior internal and external customer service levels.
  • All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Valid Class E Florida driver's license with minimum 3-year driving history.
  • Ability to pass driver road test with medium-duty vehicle.
  • High school diploma ora GED is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
  • Understands and follows instructions carefully.

Work Environment:

The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles. Outdoor weather conditions range from 40F to 100F. Able to work in wet, humid, or hot conditions, depending on the weather. Possible exposure to vibration. The noise level in this work environment is usually loud.
