Job description

Summary:

The objectives of this part time position is to manage product staging operations for daily newspaper distribution.


What you will do:

  • Count, sort and strap products by route into carts

  • Print and sort documents for daily distribution operation

  • Verify resolution of service issues upon request

  • Report shortages and communicate impacts

  • Provide courteous and efficient service to contracted carriers

  • Ensure that carriers receive their papers by established delivery deadlines

  • Ensure that contract carriers receive and understand daily mail

  • Other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

  • A friendly and courteous disposition

  • Able to quickly identify a clear path to resolution

  • Clear communication skills are essential

  • Tact, diplomacy, and the ability to self-supervise

  • Cognitive/problem solving skills

  • Customer service experience

Physical requirements:

  • Bend, stretch, and lift up to 25 pounds

  • Stand/move in warehouse environment

The hourly wage is $16.90.
