Medical Scribe
QuantumCare Wound Care | Nebraska’s Exclusive Independent Wound Care Partner
QuantumCare is transforming the way healthcare is delivered. As a trusted participating provider within the Methodist Health Partners network and Nebraska’s only independent wound care center, we provide comprehensive services designed to support patients throughout every stage of their wound care journey. From advanced wound care and chronic condition management to transitional care, our experienced team brings compassionate, specialized treatment directly to patients—where they live, recover, and thrive.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our provider team in a fast-paced wound care environment. This role is responsible for real-time clinical documentation, ensuring accurate and timely medical records while allowing providers to focus on patient care.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide real-time documentation support during patient visits
  • Accurately document patient history, physical exam findings, wound assessments and measurements, treatment plans, and provider orders
  • Maintain pace with clinic flow and document encounters in the order received
  • Transcribe field provider reports into complete and accurate clinical notes
  • Follow up with providers to clarify information as needed to ensure documentation accuracy
  • Ensure all clinical documentation meets required standards and is completed within designated timeframes
  • Track outstanding documentation items and communicate updates to the Director of Clinical Operations
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
  • Support additional office-based administrative tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in a health-related field preferred
  • Strong written communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to type accurately at a minimum of 40–50 WPM
  • Proficient in computer systems and communication platforms
  • Highly organized, professional, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working with medical terminology, including detailed wound descriptions
  • Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical documentation role preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
