Traveling Construction Superintendent – Concrete Division
Steelwater Construction, LLC., has an immediate opening for a Traveling Construction Superintendent - Concrete Division in our Atlanta, GA location. This position will be primarily focused on supervising, inspecting, and approving day-to-day operations of concrete projects.
The Concrete Superintendent will oversee all concrete work on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and site workers to manage and direct the execution of concrete projects, including foundations, slabs, walls, and other concrete structures.
What You'll Do:
Project Planning and Coordination
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules for concrete work.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project specifications and requirements.
  • Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment for concrete projects.
On-Site Management
  • Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to concrete work.
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Monitor the progress of work and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Quality Control
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of all concrete work.
