Position Overview
As a C-Store Delivery Driver, you are the face of Team Modern on the road and at each delivery stop. In this role, you’ll ensure our customers receive their orders accurately, on time, and with a positive attitude that reflects our commitment to outstanding service. Primarily serving convenience stores and tobacco retailers across Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and Ohio, this non-CDL driving position is ideal for candidates who value independence, dependability, and customer connection while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers along assigned routes, following established schedules.
  • Provide exceptional, friendly customer service at every delivery point.
  • Verify delivery accuracy, ensuring all products are accounted for and presented neatly.
  • Follow all state and local traffic laws, DOT regulations, and Team Modern safety policies.
  • Complete check-in procedures, documentation, and payment collection with attention to detail.
  • Operate a 26' straight box truck, using a two-wheel dolly and manual pallet jack as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit electronic reports.
  • Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and dash cameras in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Adapt to varying traffic and weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by wearing designated uniforms: company-provided polos and hat, paired with black pants or shorts.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement) with a valid driver's license.
  • Prior experience in delivery driving.

  • Commitment to safety practices, including no use of handheld devices while driving.
  • Comfortable with long workdays (typically 10-12 hours) and flexible with route needs.
  • Physically fit to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly, navigate ramps, and perform frequent bending and climbing tasks in a safe manner.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment physical exam.
Schedule amp; Working Conditions
  • Monday – Friday routes; start times vary (1:00 AM – 5:00 AM).
  • Rare Saturday routes may be required due to weather rescheduling.
  • Drivers on a four-day route schedule will be assigned one "on-call" day weekly.
  • Potential for one overnight route weekly, based on operational needs.
  • Daily travel begins and ends at our Corporate headquarters in Somerset, Kentucky.
Compensation amp; Benefits
  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 annually.
  • Guaranteed minimum weekly earnings of $700.
  • Commission pay plus mileage pay per route.
  • Monthly performance bonuses available based on meeting specific criteria.
