Job Summary:

The CMV Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of commercial motor vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations. This role requires strict adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies related to safety and operations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Transport materials, equipment, or goods to and from job sites or customer locations
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected from damage
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or safety concerns immediately
  • Assist with loading/unloading as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) REQUIRED
  • Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) -Valid through FMCSA National Registry
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to operate various types of CMVs (e.g., tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, etc.)
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to pass English Language Proficiency Test
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
  • 1–3+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Experience in construction, logistics, or specialized hauling
  • Proficient in pre and post equipment inspections


Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Active construction site environments
  • Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases
  • Working in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs
