CDL Delivery Driver – Class A or B with Hazmat
Location:
Warner Robins, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Jones Welding & Industrial Supplies is looking for a dependable, safety-minded CDL Delivery Driver to join our Warner Robins team.
This is more than a driving position. In addition to making local deliveries, this person must be willing to assist around the shop, loading dock, and warehouse between deliveries. Our Warner Robins location works as a team, so we are looking for the right person who has a positive attitude and is willing to step in wherever help is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver welding supplies, industrial products, and compressed-gas cylinders to customers
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles while properly securing all products
  • Verify orders and obtain required delivery documentation
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Follow all DOT, Hazmat, company, and customer safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized delivery vehicle
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, order preparation, and warehouse organization
  • Help on the loading dock and around the shop between deliveries
  • Provide professional, friendly service to customers
  • Work cooperatively with the entire Warner Robins team

Requirements


  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
  • Current Hazmat endorsement
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of DOT and Hazmat safety requirements
  • Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload heavy products and gas cylinders
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong attention to safety and order accuracy
  • Willingness to work in the warehouse, on the dock, and around the shop as needed
  • Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to pass all required pre-employment and DOT screenings

Previous welding or welding-supply experience is very helpful and strongly preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to work with the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and a good fit for our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but is also comfortable staying active and helping the team between deliveries.
