Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, checkpoints, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and/or movement within assigned posts while verifying credentials, screening access, and supporting established operational rules.
• Work collaboratively with site leadership, public officials, and/or first responders while maintaining readiness to carry out post orders and security-related responsibilities in changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
