Job description

A Little Caesars' Assistant Manager works productively as a part of the restaurant team under the direct supervision of the restaurant General Management according to company standards and procedures In addition, he/she/x helps maintain a team environment that ensures a positive culture, enjoyable customer experience and long-term business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees and directs team members to help ensure customers are served accurate and complete orders within service-time goals according to current customer service standards using specified priority guidelines with a commitment to achieving results.
  • Assists and ensures team members prepare consistent and high-quality products as required to meet/exceed company standards. Teaches the fundamentals of station responsibilities and monitors employee performance while correcting when necessary. Emphasizes teamwork and enhances the work environment.
  • Responsible for efficient operation of the location with or without the assistance of a higher leadership present. Delegates responsibilities as needed for shift.
  • Assists in preparing consistent and high-quality products as required to meet/exceed company standards.
  • Upholds standards for a clean and organized restaurant as required by local/government agencies. Clearly conveys details regarding food safety with an ability to emphasize priorities and correct bad practices when necessary.
  • Displays the proper image as outlined in the Little Caesars Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff.
  • Efficiently and consistently completes designated financial paperwork, temperature logs, daily inventory, completes required checklists and oversees deliveries as instructed by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending and kneeling
  • The ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
  • The ability to consistently reach and move items from as high as 8 feet (with use of a ladder) and as low as 6 inches off the ground.
  • The ability to control and utilize company equipment safely and correctly (dough press, VCM, dough roller, sauce ladle, pan grippers, spatula, pizza and dough cutter, can openers, scales, telephone, cash register, etc.)
  • The ability to consistently apply pressure to cut through products and/or clean equipment/utensils.
  • The ability to count, separate and weigh all types of food products and inventory items.
  • The ability to effectively communicate to customers, co-workers and executive leadership (reading, speaking, hearing, writing, etc.)
  • The ability to understand instructions and product specifications.
  • The ability to process and complete customer orders.
  • The ability to operate, comprehend and communicate all training materials to practice standard operating procedures as required by company policy.
  • The ability to successfully pass required training programs for certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 16 years of age possessing strong communication skills.
  • Open availability for either/both am and pm shifts with varying responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Ability to achieve certifications for all stations in BOH/FOH unless otherwise noted.
  • Be dependable and hard-working with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
