Job description

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Driver/Yard Hostler in Seattle, WA. Monday Friday. This freight is touch and delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.

Home Daily | Weekends Off

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $30.00per hour
    • OT payed after 40 hours
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

  • Home Daily
  • Shift: 7am to 4:30pm with flexabilty
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Touch Freight some drop and hook

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have valid CDL ALicense
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
    • Minimum 1 years industry driving experience
  • Must know how to drive a forklift
  • Must be flexible to drive Tractor/Yard Mule/Forklift
  • Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
    • No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
    • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
    • No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45miles of Seattle, WAor be willing to relocate for this position
