Class A CDL Driver – No Touch General Freight/Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional CDL Driver to join the AERO Logistics LLC team. The Local Company Driver will transport general freight locally, with no-touch freight handling. The driver will be responsible for safely operating company equipment, following assigned routes and delivery schedules, completing required vehicle inspections, and providing professional service to our customers.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, professional, and able to work independently while supporting the needs of the AERO Logistics team.
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, generally working between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  • Must have the flexibility to adjust start and end times based on operational needs.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Local driving position with the expectation of returning home after the workday.
Responsibilities
  • Reporting to work on time and maintaining dependable attendance.
  • Safely operate a company van & tractor-trailer equipment.
  • Transport and deliver general freight locally with no-touch freight handling.
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
  • Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain required driving logs and other transportation documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized tractor and trailer.
  • Comply with all applicable DOT driving laws and regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and AERO Logistics team members.
  • Interact with and contribute to all team efforts in a positive and professional manner.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Minimum 3 years of CDL Class A tractor-trailer driving experience, required for insurance purposes.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, generally between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., with flexibility to adjust the schedule based on operational needs.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as operational needs require.
  • Understanding of all relevant DOT driving laws and regulations.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Safety-conscious regardless of the assignment.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • TWIC card and/or Hazmat endorsement preferred.
