JA Frate is a well-established transportation and logistics company serving the Chicagoland area through LTL, FTL, warehousing, distribution, and freight brokerage services. We are looking for a dependable CDL Class B Driver who takes pride in safe driving, professional customer service, and being part of a team that keeps local freight moving.


Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Local routes with home time every night and no weekends.


*Candidates will train at our Crystal Lake home base terminal for the first week. Paid mileage is provided.*

What You'll Do

Safely operate a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Transport local freight and complete pickups and deliveries in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Load, unload, organize, and secure freight as needed using safe material-handling practices.

Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records.

Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.


What We're Looking For

Valid CDL Class B license required.

Minimum of 2 years of CDL B driving experience preferred.

Local pickup and delivery experience preferred.

Must be at least 23 years old.

Hazmat endorsement preferred; may be required within 3 months of hire based on business needs.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Strong safety mindset and professional communication skills.

Must meet company driving standards and pass required screenings, including drug screen, DOT physical, Functional 


Employment Physical, and random drug testing program.
