Job description

Your day in this role will be on the road. Deliveries include service to Granite Group customers and to job sites with courteous and timely deliveries. Responsibilities include; making deliveries to customers and other branches and assist with unloading. Local driving, home every night. Tanks are filled before you head on the road and trucks are loaded. You will have a dedicated route. Join our team of dedicated, and good humored drivers. We take great pride of our Central Distribution Center and our drivers are the real deal. They are the keystone that keeps us up and running, without them, we would not be the company we are.

Key Duties and Qualifications:

  • Repetitive heavy lifting involved. Preparing, loading, unloading, and delivery of our products, (boilers, water heaters, etc.) to job sites and customers. Ability to swiftly and carefully lift 75lbs.
  • Applicant should be at least 21 years of age

  • Experience as a delivery driver

  • DOT medical card physical, drug and background screen are mandatory

  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • A polite and professional disposition and ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations

  • Operating a forklift in the warehouse (training offered!)

  • Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items

  • Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
