Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking dependable and safety-focused CDL A Drivers to join our growing team. We are hiring multiple drivers to support our manufacturing operations and transportation needs.

This is a local driving position with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Transporting materials and equipment between QES facilities
  • Hauling scrap materials to local recycling yards
  • Supporting local deliveries and transportation activities as needed
  • Assisting with loading, unloading, and shipping operations when required

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport materials, products, and equipment between company facilities and designated locations.
  • Complete pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Secure cargo using straps, chains, blocks, and other load securement equipment.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and shipping records.
  • Communicate delays, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly.
  • Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Assist with shipping and material handling activities as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent QES positively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Keep vehicles clean and organized in accordance with company 5S standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to hire.
  • Ability to pass an MVR screening in accordance with company standards.
  • Must pass a preemployment drug and alcohol screening and participate in random testing as required by DOT regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification may be obtained after hire.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating flatbed trucks and securing loads.
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Experience with local deliveries and manufacturing environments.
