Job Title:ย Truck Driver, Regional

We are now looking for an experienced Local Truck Driver - Nightime.ย  The successful candidate will support our Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IN.ย  Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value adding support and high performing chemicals. The position will be a slip seat requiring that you share a tractor.ย 

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers
  • Loading and unloading tankers
  • Completing delivery paperwork
  • Complying with federal, state and local regulations in regards to the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials.

ย What you'll bring to the team:

  • Minimum 3-years of experience driving tractor trailer
  • Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank preferred
  • Commercial drivers license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
  • Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)
  • Basic math skills; thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations; and a customer service orientation
