What is the difference between Local Delivery vs Courier?

AspectLocal DeliveryCourier
CredentialsDriver's license, sometimes a commercial licenseDriver's license, sometimes specialized certifications
Work EnvironmentLocal routes, delivery vans, often within a city or townVaried environments, including local, regional, or international deliveries

While credentials and work environments overlap, couriers often require more specialized certifications for handling sensitive or international packages. Understanding these differences helps job seekers find the right role based on their skills and career goals.
