Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading cargo.
Pay: Our Drivers make between $22 an hour and $25 an hour with weekly bonuses based on Driver and Company performance.
Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roadways is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate both manual transmission vehicles and automatic vehicles effectively.
  • Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
