Job description

Job Overview

We're looking for a dependable delivery driver who knows how to handle a 26 ft box truck and takes pride in doing the job right. We're a cabinet company based in North Charlotte, and we need someone reliable to get product out to job sites and customers without issues. If you've got a few years of experience behind the wheel and don't mind some heavy lifting, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving a 26 ft box truck on local routes around the Charlotte area
  • Loading and unloading cabinets, strapping everything down properly to prevent damage
  • Performing quick truck checks before and after each route
  • Getting deliveries where they need to go, on time
  • Handling paperwork and collecting signatures/proof of delivery
  • Communicating clearly with customers and contractors on-site
  • Helping out at the warehouse when not on the road

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience driving a 26 ft box truck or similar vehicle
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to lift and move cabinets up to 75 lbs. (heavier items handled with assistance)
  • Punctual, with good route-planning skills
  • Cabinet, furniture, or millwork delivery experience is a plus, though not required
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening

Schedule

Monday–Friday (Saturdays as needed), home every night. No overnight travel.
