Introduction

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse & Local Delivery Driver for a Livingston County company specializing in cabinetry products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of warehouse work and being on the road—and wants a stable, long-term position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

We're looking for someone dependable, professional, and ready to become a long-term part of the team. While previous delivery experience is important, the company believes many job-specific skills can be taught. Attitude, reliability, coachability, and a strong work history are what will set the right candidate apart. About the Opportunity

This position combines warehouse, material handling, and local delivery responsibilities. You'll load cabinetry products onto a company box truck, complete a local delivery route throughout the Livingston County area, and ensure products arrive safely and professionally.

Routes are local—no overnight or long-distance driving—and typically include approximately 2–10 stops per day.

Schedule & Pay
  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday
  • Start Time: 7:00 AM
  • Typically finished between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, depending on route completion
  • Occasional overtime available during peak season, typically April through October
  • $20.00 – $22.00/hour, based on experience
  • Additional compensation may be considered for an exceptionally strong candidate
Key Responsibilities Local Delivery
  • Complete daily local delivery routes throughout the Livingston County area
  • Deliver cabinetry products to customer locations
  • Safely operate an automatic box truck
  • Complete approximately 2–10 delivery stops per day
  • Load the truck and organize products for efficient delivery
  • Safely unload cabinetry using strap dollies and other material-handling equipment
  • Primarily operate routes independently; assistance may be provided for unusually large deliveries
  • Protect products from damage during loading, transportation, and unloading
  • Maintain a professional and customer-service-focused attitude at delivery locations
Warehouse & Material Handling
  • Load and unload cabinetry products
  • Organize products for scheduled delivery routes
  • Assist with general warehouse operations when not completing deliveries
  • Use appropriate material-handling equipment safely

Qualifications Required
  • Previous box truck delivery experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete an MVR review and meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to safely lift, load, unload, and transport cabinetry products
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Stable work history demonstrating longevity with previous employers
  • Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route responsibly
Preferred
  • Chauffeur's License preferred; consideration may be given to qualified candidates who are eligible and willing to obtain one
  • Previous route delivery experience
  • Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or loading/unloading experience
  • Experience with local delivery, courier, medical delivery, or similar route-based positions
