Salary Range $28.00 - $39.00 Hourly

Description

Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Pay Range: $28.00 - $39.00

Department: Transportation

Reports To: Transportation Supervisor

Essential Functions:

  • Operates tractor/trailer conforming to all state and federal DOT requirements
  • Follow all Kuna safety policies regarding safe driving
  • Makes deliveries to customers
  • Scan customer cases to ensure correctly delivery of items
  • Verify all products are put in designated locations
  • Picks up customer returns, as necessary
  • Complete pre-trip inspections
  • Collect payments from customers, as necessary
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip DVIR
  • Attend all required company meetings
  • Adhere to all safety practices and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid Class A CDL License and Medical Card
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to be certified on all equipment used on shift by Kuna Foodservice
  • Must be at least 18 years of ages
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Must have sufficient reasoning capabilities to solve practical problems (Ex.: Is product commercially acceptable? Is this the product the customer ordered?)
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures. (From -10 to 55+ degrees)
  • Must be able to work overtime, as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Continuously during the workday:

  • Grasps and/or manipulates objects by quickly moving on hand, a hand and arm together or two hands
  • Lift / Push Carry 51 to 100 lbs
  • Bend / Stoop / Twist / Kneel
  • Balance / Ride on Stand-up pallet jack

Frequently during the work day:

  • Lift / Push / Carry 0 to 50 lbs
