Local CDL A Hazmat Driver - $28 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Pomona, CA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am Start time

  • Pay:  $28 Per hour + OT, $900 - $1,000 Estimated weekly pay

  • Route Type: Local within 150 radius

  • Freight / Load Type: Hazardous materials

  • Handling: Heavy touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

  • License: CDL A

  • Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

  • Endorsements: Hazmat required

  • Equipment Experience: LTL experience required

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

  • Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

  • Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

  • Perform required handling tasks including heavy touch freight

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

  • Meet the physical demands of the role
