RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
  • Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
  • Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
  • Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
  • Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
  • Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
  • Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, and moving frequently
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position
  • Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • Experience with building products is very helpful
  • Moffett experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures
  • High School diploma or GED
