Unlike long-haul truckers, local CDL drivers typically return home at the end of each workday and are responsible for transporting goods between local warehouses, distribution centers, and businesses. Their duties often include loading and unloading cargo, performing vehicle inspections, and adhering to safety regulations. This role is ideal for those who want to drive professionally without spending extended periods away from home.
