Position Description:

The Briar Team, Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is looking for a reliable Fuel/Lube Driver with CDL Class B license or better. Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

Our insurance requires at least 2 years of CDL and 3 years of having a regular license. However, 7 years of driving experience is preferrable.

We are looking for immediate hire with excellent pay and benefits, performance bonuses, profit sharing, generous vacation pay and yearly loyalty bonuses, in addition to training and opportunities for growth.

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fuel, dispensing fuel into machines, greasing or lubing each machine as required.


Job Type: Full-time/Local


Fuel/lube truck driver:

  1. Must have at least a class B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement,
  2. Starting pay $22+/hour (depending on experience)
  3. Able to navigate in off road conditions
  4. Heavy equipment knowledge a plus


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Loads and unloads trucks with fuel adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
  2. Safely operating, tying down and maneuvering heavy equipment for transport
  3. Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws
  4. Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles and other related articles as necessary
  5. Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy
  6. Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to Fleet Manager
  7. Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures
  8. Knowledge of, and the ability to use, auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading of vehicle and use spill kits and fire extinguisher
  9. Ability to safely navigate on and off equipment using 3-point contact
  10. Ability to pick up and carry 50-75 pounds
