Unlike long-haul drivers, they typically work within a specific geographic area, allowing them to return home daily. Their main duties include loading and unloading cargo, ensuring safe transportation of goods, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations. Many local CDL Class B positions offer predictable schedules and regular routes, making them appealing for drivers seeking work-life balance.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a local CDL Class B driver?
