Local CDL Class A Driver Opportunity $24/hr | Day Shift | Home Every Night!

Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced CDL Class Driver for a well-established plywood mill in Chehalis, WA. If you are looking for a steady local driving opportunity, consistent hours, and a company that values safety and reliability, this could be the right fit for you!


What We Offer:

$24.00/hour Weekly Pay
MondayFriday schedule with consistent hours
Day shift home every night
Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential

Schedule:

Day Shift: 6:55 AM 3:25 PM
Monday Friday
Occasional weekends required based on business needs


Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle while transporting materials and products
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate driving logs and required DOT documentation
Follow all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Properly maintain truck and equipment
Load and unload materials as needed
Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety
Assist with additional duties as assigned


Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A License
Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
Clean and safe driving record
Ability to meet all DOT requirements
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or GED preferred
