Job description

Local Class A CDL Driver | Home Daily | Parkersburg, WV

United Talent Staffing is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver for a company in Parkersburg, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused driver seeking local routes, steady full-time hours, and the ability to be home every day.

Schedule and Pay

  • Starting at $20.00 per hour
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM start time
  • End time varies depending on the assigned route
  • At least 40 hours per week
  • Local routes with home-daily scheduling

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate manual and automatic commercial vehicles, including roll-off and dump trucks
  • Transport materials and equipment to designated locations
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries on time
  • Load and unload materials and equipment safely
  • Operate a forklift when needed
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip
  • Report maintenance needs, mechanical issues, and safety concerns
  • Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and required inspections
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members

Position Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Previous professional truck-driving experience
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
  • Strong knowledge of DOT requirements and traffic regulations
  • Ability to safely load and unload heavy materials
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to meet delivery deadlines
  • Forklift or heavy-equipment experience is a plus
  • Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
