Full-Time & Part-Time | $22.25 – $24.00 per hour | Paid Weekly


Job Description

This is a Full-Time or Part-Time Delivery Driver position with Bravo Transportation LLC (the "Company"), an independent Amazon Delivery Service Partner based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, delivering packages to Amazon customers across Macomb and Oakland County.


We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem-solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment.


Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.


We are looking for team players who want to grow with the Company.

•    Commercial, DOT, CDL, or other work-related driving experience is a plus, but not required — we train you

•    As we grow, dispatch and supervisory roles become available — we promote from within


Pay & Benefits

•    $22.25 – $24.00 per hourpaid weekly

•    Overtime paid at 1.5x your regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek, in accordance with federal and Michigan law

•    Paid time off (PTO)

•    Paid sick time in accordance with Michigan's Earned Sick Time Act (earned at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked)

•    Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees (employees who average fewer than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance)

Schedule

•    Set weekly schedule — you will know your scheduled days in advance

•    3 to 4 scheduled days per week

•    One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required every week

•    Shifts typically run about 10 hours, with early-morning start times

•    Daily hours are driven by customer order volume and vary by day and by season; hours are not guaranteed

•    Additional days may be available during peak seasons

•    Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break during a full shift


Key Duties & Responsibilities

•    Successfully handle and deliver packages on time

•    Safely drive and perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the Company vehicle

•    Follow all local and state laws, road and driving regulations, and Company policies

•    Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events and conditions

•    Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push, and slide packages weighing between 50 and 70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs. using material handling equipment; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations

•    Communicate effectively with the dispatch and support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed

•    Use a Company-provided smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, administrative requirements such as clocking in and out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members

•    Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle

•    Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes


Requirements

•    Must be at least 21 years old

•    Must hold a valid, non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license (out-of-state licenses accepted; processing may take longer)

•    Must be authorized to work in the United States

•    Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (which does not include testing for marijuana) and a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law

•    Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

•    Must be able to communicate effectively in English — reading delivery instructions, using the delivery app, and communicating with customers and dispatch are essential functions of the job

•    Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the job listed above, with or without reasonable accommodation
