Founded in 2021, A1 Shipping LLC is a locally owned Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) proud to serve the Virginia Beach community. We're not a faceless corporation — we're a growing local business built on reliability, teamwork, and taking care of our drivers. As an Amazon DSP, we handle the "last mile" of delivery, getting packages safely from the van to the doorstep, and our success depends entirely on the people who make that happen every day.

Job Description

Compensation & Benefits!

  • Start at $21.00 per hour!

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:

  • Shifts are approximately 10am-8pm.
  • You can expect to work 4 days per week and 8- 10 hours per day. (1 weekend day per work week is required)
  • Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and on time.
  • Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
  • Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and focus on customer service.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training (at no cost to you) so that all of our employees are prepared and feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with.

  • Authorized to Work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)
  • Have a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Be able to read and speak English for safety reasons.

Work Environment

  • You must have a willingness to be Flexible as routes can vary along with traffic delays, weather conditions, construction, etc.
  • While your schedule will be approximately 10am-8pm, it can vary slightly depending on the route for the day.
