Become a Delivery Associate with BlueJacket Delivery LLC

Compensation: $15.00/hr - $17.25/hr DOE

BlueJacket Delivery LLC is an AMXL (Amazon oversized and heavy Delivery Service Partner) that is owned and operated as a part of the BlueJacket family of companies that has been entrenched in last-mile service excellence in the Reno area since May 2019. In addition to our other last-mile delivery, installation, and logistics businesses, BlueJacket Delivery will be delivering items for Amazon that can weigh up to 300lbs in two-person teams to Northeastern California and Northern Nevada every day. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in this team environment. As a delivery associate, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driver and helper positions in Reno, NV.

Delivery Associates Responsibilities:

  • Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; load trucks and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle repeatedly throughout the day, and walking upstairs and through driveways, and deliver packages safely and punctually
  • You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week, in 8-10 hour shifts
  • Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
  • Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
  • Have a positive can-do attitude
  • Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
  • You will interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • Responsible to deliver 30 to 60 oversized packages per day.
  • Ability to team load and unload packages up to 300 lbs. utilizing hand trucks.
  • Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
  • Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Delivery Helper - Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Our main priority is our associate's safety and training so that they can be safe and make deliveries on time.

  • Be 18 years of age or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety
  • Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment

Delivery Driver - Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Our main priority is drivers that we can trust to drive safely and deliver on time.

  • Be 21 years of age or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety (Driver).
  • Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)
  • Drivers must have a clean driving record (MVR), less than 3 violations in 5 years
  • Have or be willing to get a DOT Medical card (which will involve a DOT physical)
  • Consent to a drug test
  • Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
  • Be able to lift up to 300 pounds as a team during an 8 to 10-hour work shift entering and exiting the vehicle 60-100 times per day
  • Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
