*This is a local position but may require some OTR if/when needed*

LAS Freight Systems, LLC is seeking full-time, motivated Class A CDL drivers with a clean driving record. As a local small business, we exclusively transport goods for Amazon and offer on-the-spot job offers contingent upon meeting eligibility and background check requirements. Our focus on Amazon Intermodal drop and hook loads enables drivers to optimize their time on the road and maximize their earning potential. Candidates must possess a Class A CDL and have three (3) or more years of verifiable tractor trailer and/or intermodal experience. As a CDL Driver, you will deliver daily, local, and regional routes that ensure a safe return home after each shift. Our deliveries range from 100% no-touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads.
Schedule breakdown:
  • This position necessitates a flexible schedule.
  • Beginning times will fluctuate and are contingent upon the Amazon schedule each week.
  • There is no fixed schedule, and weekends are included.
We offer:
  • 25% base pay for completed loads
  • Direct deposit bi-weekly pay, 1099
  • Compensation for layovers
Requirements:
  • Must have three (3) or more current years of verifiable tractor trailer experience and a valid U.S. Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
  • Maintain a clean driving record, free from tickets or accidents, within the past three (3) years.
  • Pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Examination.
  • No current CDL suspension or revocation.
  • Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Successfully pass a background check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Possess the ability to utilize handheld technology and smartphone applications.
  • Interact with the general public in a positive and professional manner while delivering trailers/containers to Amazon warehouses and operating within and outside of rail yard facilities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, to communicate with the general public, comprehend highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record information on reports and records.
  • Exhibit exceptional time management skills and the capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate delivery details.
