This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Administrative Services Center location in East Petersburg, PA.

The Consumer Loan Recovery Manager is responsible for managing the recovery lifecycle of late-stage delinquent and charged-off secured consumer loans, with a primary focus on auto loans and single-family real estate. This role oversees repossession, foreclosure, asset liquidation, and post-charge-off recovery strategies, including the marketing and sale of Real Estate Owned (REO) properties. The position aims to maximize recovery value, minimize losses, and ensure full regulatory and legal compliance while maintaining a disciplined, customer-sensitive approach.


  • Lead recovery efforts for late-stage delinquent and charged-off auto and mortgage/home equity loan portfolios.
  • Design and execute liquidation strategies including repossession, foreclosure, settlement, and deficiency recovery.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, severity trends, and recovery timing to improve net recovery outcomes and oversee asset valuation strategies to ensure accurate recovery expectations.
  • Oversee REO marketing strategies, including pricing, listing, property repairs and ensuring properties are properly maintained, insured, and compliant with local regulations during holding period.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including: FDCPA, CFPB, UDAAP, State foreclosure and repossession laws.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate team members while supporting cross-functional collaboration within the company. Foster a positive, inclusive and results-driven team environment.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead the team through process improvements and system / procedure updates by clearly communicating to ensure smooth adoption across the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching and implement development plans.
  • Use data insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Business Administration, Accounting. (Required)

Experience

5 or more years secured loan collections, loss recovery, default management. (Required)

2 or more years management / leadership experience. (Required)

3 or more years ICE / MSP servicing platform and /or Salesforce. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Comprehensive background in secured asset recovery and collateral liquidations. (Required)
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks. (Required)

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $151,600.00 annually.


Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
